Ways to Give

There are many ways to give to support Western Piedmont Community College. Donors may make gifts any time during the year. Gifts may also be designated for a specific purpose or unrestricted, which provides the Foundation with the opportunity to use the gift where the College most needs it. Individuals or organizations wishing to assist the College may do so by making tax deductible donations of equipment, cash, bonds, stocks, real estate, trusts, life insurance, or bequests.

Annual Giving Campaign

Many generous individuals and organizations choose to support Western Piedmont Community College and its students through the Annual Giving Campaign. This annual campaign appeal is mailed to friends of the College in the fall of each year, but gifts are accepted any time.

The Annual Giving Campaign has a special focus each year, but also serves to meet the needs required in providing a quality education beyond state and local appropriations. Funds are used to support Western Piedmont’s dedicated faculty and staff, provide instructional equipment for classrooms and laboratories, and develop facilities that help instructors teach and students learn.

Planned Giving

Charitable gift planning, completed in concert with estate planning, provides an opportunity for friends of Western Piedmont Community College to provide significant and lasting support for the College.

Planned gifts may be made in many ways, including: wills, charitable remainder trusts, and gift annuities. Gifts may also be made in the form of life insurance policies, individual retirement accounts, and gifts of property such as real estate. Gifts made through a charitable remainder trust or gift annuity may also provide significant life income benefit to the donor during his or her lifetime.
