Excellence in Teaching Award

Each year, Western Piedmont Foundation honors a member of Western Piedmont Community College‚Äôs (WPCC) full-time curriculum faculty, nominated by his or her own peers and students, for dedication to the teaching profession. Selection criteria recognize extraordinary efforts as a teacher; service to the profession, the College and the community; involvement with present and former students, and evidence of innovative or special efforts in teaching. The Excellence in Teaching Award recipient is recognized at Western Piedmont Community College’s Spring Graduation.

The 2021 Excellence in Teaching Award

The Western Piedmont Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2021 Excellence in Teaching award through March 31. Here are the award criteria used in determining the recipient. To submit a nomination, please download the nomination form below, complete it, and submit it in the ballot box located in the campus mailroom in Moore Hall. Remember, you must sign and date the form for it to be accepted.
