Business Administration
The Business Administration curriculum is designed to introduce students to the various aspects of the free enterprise system. Students will be provided with a fundamental knowledge of business functions, processes, and an understanding of business organizations in today’s global economy.
Coursework includes business concepts such as accounting, business law, economics, management, and marketing. Skills related to the application of these concepts are developed through the study of computer applications, communication, team building, and decision making.
Through these skills, students will have a sound business education base for lifelong learning. Graduates are prepared for employment opportunities in government agencies, financial institutions, and large to small business or industry.
Programs of Study
Associate in Applied Science
The A.A.S. degree is a 2-year, 67 credit-hour program. Students will be provided with a fundamental knowledge of business functions, processes, and today’s economy.
Diploma
The Business Administration Diploma is a 39-hour program.
Human Resource Management Certificate
This 12-credit hour certificate is designed to prepare students for job opportunities in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Training Manager, and Equipment Specialist.
General Business Certificate
This 13-credit hour certificate is designed to meet the specific individual needs by allowing the student to choose those courses needed for current jobs, future employment, or general interest.
