Dr. Joel Welch presents Stacey Sholar with the 2025 Staff Member of the Year Award.

Each year, WPCC recognizes an outstanding staff member selected for his/her superior work history, strong commitment to the College’s open-door philosophy, and dedication to assisting students, faculty, and staff. Recipients receive a plaque and $1,000 monetary award, in addition to the admiration and respect of their colleagues. The award is sponsored by Western Piedmont Foundation. The Outstanding Staff Member Award recipient is recognized at Western Piedmont Community College’s Annual Convocation Breakfast.

The 2025 Outstanding Staff Member Award recipient is Stacey Sholar.
