Helen Carswell and James Patrick Hennessee Endowed Scholarship

To assist students pursuing a degree in accounting or a program of study in construction technologies, engineering technologies or industrial technologies in meeting educational expenses incurred while pursuing their academic goals at Western Piedmont Community College.

Scholarship Criteria

• Demonstrate financial need

• Be enrolled in an accounting degree program or a construction, engineering or industrial technologies program of study

• Demonstrate good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5

• Demonstrate good standing in the community

• Be enrolled a minimum of 12 credit hours

• Have graduated high school within the last nine months
