Gerald and Meilia Cox Family Foundation Scholarship

To assist students in meeting educational expenses incurred while pursuing their academic goals at Western Piedmont Community College.

Scholarship Criteria

• Be enrolled in the Nursing associate degree program at the College
• Demonstrate good academic standing with a minimum grade point average of 2.5, exhibit exemplary character, and demonstrate potential for success in the field of nursing
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress as determined by the College
• Recipients may apply for renewal of the scholarship for a second year
• Complete a pre-application interview with Continental personnel
• Attend regularly scheduled mentoring meetings with Continental personnel as a scholarship recipient
