Jo Bailey Sitton Endowed Scholarship

To assist students in meeting educational expenses incurred while pursuing their academic goals at Western Piedmont Community College.

Scholarship Criteria

• Be a graduate of a Burke County public high school who is a resident, or has been a resident, of the Morganton Public Housing Authority
• Be enrolled at WPCC on at least a half-time (6 semester hours) basis in a program leading to a degree or diploma
• Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid
• Maintain satisfactory progress as determined by the College
• Be willing to speak to groups about how the Scholarship helped them
