September 1, 2026(5 events) Study for the ASVAB or AFCT! Prepare for entry into the Armed Forces by mastering the essential skills for the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) or the Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT). This comprehension review course focuses on the core competencies needed for military success. Dates: Tuesday, September 1, 2026 – Tuesday, September 29, 2026 Eligibility: Students must be at least 18 years old and have a North Carolina mailing address. Minors are not eligible to enroll. Hyflex Course: Students may choose to attend in person on campus, online via Microsoft Teams, or mix and match formats week to week based on their schedule. Teams Attendance: Online attendance is tracked automatically via your Teams display name. Your profile must show your official first and last name to match the roster and receive course credit. As you progress, you will move into data analysis and visualization, gaining real-world skills you can apply immediately to business, school, or personal projects. Who this is for: Whether you are starting completely from scratch or refreshing your existing knowledge, this course provides the foundation you need to work smarter and more efficiently. Scholarships Available: The SECU Bridge to Career Scholarship is designed to help remove financial barriers for students seeking to obtain state-regulated or industry-recognized credentials. They provide necessary knowledge and skills to perform notarial acts and adhere to state regulations. This class covers a range of topics, including notary duties, responsibilities, laws, regulations, proper procedures, and more. After completing the class, you will need to obtain your notary commission from your state, which involves submitting an application, paying required fees, and providing proof of completions. Materials: Students will need to purchase and read through the notary public handbook prior to class!!
