Cybersecurity Basics: Staying Safe Online teaches essential skills to safeguard your devices, passwords, and digital identity, while Cybersecurity Fundamentals for the Workplace builds on those skills to prepare you for entry-level cybersecurity roles and professional certification. Both courses are delivered online, tuition-free, and made possible with support from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC).

Cybersecurity Fundamentals for the Workplace builds on your basic skills to help you understand how cybersecurity really works in business and IT. Classes begin March 10, 2026.

- Complete the first course in the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate — FREE.
- Learn how companies monitor, defend, and respond to cyber threats.
- Prepare for entry-level cybersecurity roles or continue your training with WPCC’s SEC 110: Security Concepts, where you can finish the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate.
