Western Piedmont Community College academic advising provides tools, resources, support, and encouragement to guide all students’ educational, career, and related personal decision making.

Student Support Team

All students are provided with a support team consisting of an Academic Advisor and Success Coach upon application. Your Success Coach serves as your guide and advocate through the college process; from submitting your application to completion of your goal. Your advisor will help you clarify your academic goals, provide accurate information about your degree, diploma, and certificate options and assist you with developing an academic plan. Your Success Coach and Advisor will provide information about campus resources to support your success.

All students, except visiting students, must meet with their advisors to have their courses approved each semester prior to registration.

Sign Up For Classes!

Set up an appointment with your academic advisor prior to registration. Your advisor will help guide you through your educational and career goals. They can connect you with career counseling and other WPCC support resources. Your advisor will also help you create an academic plan.
