Emergency Procedures

In the event of an emergency situation on campus, please refer to the WPCC Lockdown Procedure instructions on the back of the classroom or office door. Among such emergency situations are (1) fires, (2) acts of nature, (3) power failure, (4) civil disorders, and (5) bomb threats. (6) Emergency Closings of the College.

Occasionally the College will be closed because of weather conditions or emergencies beyond the control of College officials. In the event of closing, radio stations in Morganton and news media in other cities within the service area of the College will be notified.  Students may also call the main number at (828) 438-3500 to receive additional information.
