Join WPCC in recognizing the differences and similarities surrounding us all so that we can gain a deeper understanding and appreciation    of each other.

Diversity Awareness Month is a month to be aware, respectful of and embrace a variety of diverse aspects of humanity, whether race, religion, ethnicity, age, gender identity and expression, ability or disability, politics, class or sexuality. 

Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to celebrate and participate in events.

Choose to watch one or both films:
9 AM – 1 PM: Living/Undocumented
9:30 AM – 2 PM: Daughters of Destiny

Films are played in a series of 4 episodes.

The Month of April

Library Display

Located in Phifer Hall, the WPCC Library will have a Diversity Awareness Table with resources available for you. 

Pick up a Scavenger Hunt Card at any of the special events. To be eligible for the raffle, you only need to complete one activity. The more activities you complete, the bigger the prize. Please drop off completed cards by Thursday, April 14th at drop box in Moore Hall. Drawing will be held on April 20th.
