Fall Semester Hours
7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday
When there are no classes in session, the Library operates on an 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. schedule. The Library is not open Saturday or Sunday. Any change in hours will be updated on our website.

Workshop Title: Research? How Do I Begin? Day/Date: Thursday, October 5 Time: 12 noon – 12:50 PM Presenter: Nancy Daniel Location: LRC-111–This room is inside the Library/ASC. Workshop Description: Your instructor has given you an assignment of writing a research paper and you aren’t really sure how to get started. Nancy will guide you through NCLive, how to figure out if a website is valid, current, and appropriate for your research project or paper. Evaluating websites can be tricky–come learn the tricks!
Workshop Title: The Lowdown on Research Papers Day/Date: Wednesday, October 11 Time: 12 noon – 12:50 PM Presenter: Janice Brewington Location: LRC-111–This room is inside the Library/ASC. Workshop Description: Hearing an instructor say the dreaded words “Research Paper” can strike fear into the heart of any student. This workshop will explore some basic components of research writing as well as some suggestions to help you feel more at ease about long-term projects that involve research writing including how to site your sources.
Workshop Title: Transfer Student Success Day/Date: Thursday, October 19 Time: 12:30 – 1:20 PM Presenter: Kimberly Vegter Location: LRC-111–This room is inside the Library/ASC. Workshop Description: Do you have questions about the transfer process? What will transfer? Where can I find a transfer plan? What are the advantages of transferring with an AA or AS? Are you having difficulty choosing the right college for you? Kimberly will guide you through the process!
Workshop Title: Finding a Career That Fits Day/Date: Thursday, October 26 Time: 12:30 – 1:20 PM Presenter: Vicki Holder Location: LRC-111–This room is inside the Library/ASC. Workshop Description: Finding a Career That Fits: How Unlocking the Secrets of Your Personality is Key to the Career You’ve Been Hoping For–In this session, we’ll discuss the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator and provide an opportunity for you to complete the assessment.
