Description: Notary classes are essential for anyone interested in becoming a Notary Public. They provide necessary knowledge and skills to perform notarial acts and adhere to state regulations. This class covers a range of topics, including notary duties, responsibilities, laws, regulations, proper procedures, and more. After completing the class, you will need to obtain your notary commission from your state, which involves submitting an application, paying required fees, and providing proof of completions.
Materials: Students will need to purchase and read through the notary public handbook prior to class, the handbook is available for purchase in the WPCC bookstore at ($44.75) or online at North Carolina Notary Public Manual (2026) | UNC School of Government. You should also have a current valid acceptable ID. Please note no laptops are allowed.
