This hands-on course introduces students to the fundamentals of floor covering installation, with combined training in hardwood and resilient flooring. Students learn industry‑standard techniques used on real jobsites, including surface preparation, layout and measurement, material handling, basic installation methods, safety practices, and professional worksite expectations. The course is designed to build practical, job‑ready skills and prepare students for entry‑level roles as helpers or apprentices in the flooring industry.
