College Honors Retiring Employees At Reception
Morganton, NC – Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC) recently recognized and offered gratitude to 11 former employees who retired from College service in the last calendar year. Among those honored at a reception attended by faculty and staff were Linda B. Wright (41+ Years of Full-Time Service), Paul D. Wardzinski (30+ Years of Full-Time Service), Keith A. Conley (25+ Years of Service), Ann Q. Giles (25 Years of Full-Time Service), Susan C. Keller (19+ Years of Full-Time Service), Patricia E. Baker (11+ Years of Service), Robin R. Lewandowski (11+ Years of Full-Time Service), Deborah M. Bess (9+ Years of Full-Time Service), Martha K. Gilbert (8+ Years of Full-Time Service), Linda S. Satey (8+ Years of Full-Time Service), and William L. Lefevers (7 Years of Full-Time Service).

Each of the honorees received a United States or North Carolina flag that had flown during his/her tenure. In addition, the individual flags were each encased in a handcrafted flag box made by Eric Hurley, WPCC’s building construction instructor.
