06.02.100.a Methods of Payment

 

 

 

 

In Person – Tuition and fee payments can be made in person using cash, check, money order, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express at the Business Office.

Online – Secure online payments can be made using MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express through the student portal.

By Mail – Payments by check or money order can be mailed to:

  • The College cannot accept checks without a preprinted name and address (starter or counter checks) or checks with an expiration date (credit card account checks). Please make checks payable to Western Piedmont Community College.  Checks must be written for the amount due.  Checks may not be postdated.
  • When paying by check or money order by mail, include student’s name on the check to ensure proper credit. Payments mailed are not considered received until posted to your account.

By Phone – To protect student’s financial security, the College will not accept credit card payments by phone or mail.

Third Party On-Line Payment Plan – Curriculum students may use the on-line payment plan for the purpose of deferring payment of curriculum tuition and required fees for a nominal fee. The       following guidelines shall be followed by students:

  • Students may not have any outstanding debt with the College.
  • Students are responsible for going on-line (accessed through WPCC home page) and entering the correct information regarding student information, charges for tuition and fees, payment method, and account numbers.
  • Students must have valid financial account information and funds for correct payment or payment plan agreements may be terminated.
  • Students must enter into a payment plan agreement during stated times for registration in which they registered.
  • Students are responsible for informing the Business Office of any changes in classes whether adding or dropping courses.
  • Students are responsible for all payments. Classes dropped after the 10% point of the semester are still the responsibility of the student.

Other College Locations:

Bookstore:     Payments can be made using cash, check, money order, MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express.  Purchase may be made online using a credit card.

Library:     Payments made to the library for additional paper copies, late fees, or lost books can be made using cash, check, or money order.

Live Projects:     If a curriculum program is selling items through a live project payment can be made using cash, check, or money order.
