Policy

Western Piedmont Community College adheres to NCGS 115D-58.13 for vending operations and acceptable uses of profits earned by the College. Profits received from the College’s operation for vending machines and other concession activities shall be accounted for in a proprietary institutional account and kept separate from all the College’s other activities. 

1. To support enterprises
2. Supporting activities, programs, and services;
3. Matching student aid funds and for other forms of student financial aid;
4. Other expenditures of direct benefit to students; and
5. Other similar expenses authorized by the president.
6. Exclusion: These funds shall not be used to support the salary, benefit, or any other compensation of the college president.
