Policy

To maximize the quality of academic programs, the College strives to maintain a fair and reasonable faculty workload that is consistent with state policy and funding. Department Heads and their Deans may consider a combination of factors, including the instructor’s administrative responsibilities, nature of the discipline, student headcount, and number of preparations when recommending an individual instructor’s exact teaching load. On behalf of the President, the Chief Academic Officer approves faculty workload decisions.
