SGA President

Leanna is a second-year Associate of Science student at WPCC who aspires to transfer to NCSU to earn her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. A graduate of Freedom High School and with experience as the Freedom Choral Arts Chamber Singers President, Leanna has learned ways to communicate with fellow students and continuously involve others. In her free time, she is can be found thrifting and recycling second-hand items and testing out any new recipes she can find. She plans to continuously advocate and act as a voice for those around her and grow the engagement of the campus. Leanna is excited to grow not only as a leader but also as a student and to remain a life-long learner.

SGA Vice President

Savana Lee is currently pursuing her Associate of Science degree at Western Piedmont Community College with a plan to transfer to UNC Charlotte to earn a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. A graduate of McDowell High School, she served as the captain of the Yearbook Editors Club an experience that strengthened her leadership, organizational and teamwork skills. She is currently employed as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy, where her passion for assisting others has motivated her to pursue a career dedicated to science and healthcare. In her free time, she enjoys volleyball and spending time outdoors where the beauty of the natural world allows her to add to collections and stay connected to her interest in natural science as well. Savana looks forward to serving the students of WPCC as their representative on the SGA.

SGA Secretary

Léa Gagliardo is a second-year Associate of Arts student at WPCC who plans to transfer to UNC Pembroke to obtain a bachelor’s degree in psychology and old-time music. As a dually enrolled homeschool student, she has learned to successfully multi-task, balancing the demands of many personal, professional, and academic duties simultaneously. Léa is a great listener and values feedback, welcoming the input and concerns of all students as she serves them for the 2026-2027 year. When she is not working or at school, Léa loves playing music, contra dancing, and just chilling with friends. She is super excited about being involved with SGA this year and with the Lord’s help, hopes to inspire and encourage her peers and community while representing WPCC to the best of her ability.

As the SGA advisor, I’m so excited to work with this group throughout the school year. If you have any issues or suggestions that you would like us to discuss, please reach out to me at any time.

Talk to you soon, Pioneers!
