Pursuant to 1E SBCC 700.1, the Board adopts the following local fees.\u00a0 The College shall deposit receipts derived from local fees in an unrestricted or restricted institutional account.\u00a0 The College will only use the local fee receipts for the purposes for which the local fee was approved.\u00a0 The President, through the Business Office, shall annually report all required local fees to the State Board.<\/p>\n
The following groups are exempt from the Student Activity Fee, the Instructional Technology Fee and the College Access and Parking Fee: 1) all Career and College Promise students, excluding Burke Middle College, 2) continuing education students, except as other listed herein; and 3) individuals who participate only in meetings and seminars organized by the College (i.e., a group of people gathered for a one-time basis primarily for discussion under the direction of a leader or resource person)<\/p>\n
Pursuant to 1E SBCCC 700.3, a Student Activity Fee will be charged at rate of $3 per credit hour up to a maximum of $35 per semester (fall, spring and summer) for all curriculum students.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
The Student Activity Fee receipts shall be used for the permissible activities and expenses listed in 1E SBCCC 700.2(b)(1-(2).\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/strong>Pursuant to 1E SBCCC 700.3, an Instructional Technology Fee will be charged at a rate of $4 per credit hour up to a maximum of $48 per semester (fall, spring and summer) for all curriculum students.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n The Instructional Technology Fee receipts will be used to support costs of procuring, maintaining and operating instructional technology used primarily for instructional purposes and specialized instruction equipment necessary for hands-on instruction.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Pursuant to 1E SBCCC 700.4, a CAP Fee will be charged at a rate of $15 for each academic semester (fall, spring and summer) for all curriculum students.\u00a0 The CAP Fee receipts shall only be used to support costs of acquiring, constructing and maintaining the College\u2019s parking facilities, parking enforcement and security of College property.<\/p>\n Pursuant to 1E SBCCC 700.6, specific fees will be charged to students for select courses to cover academic costs for consumable goods or services that are specifically required for that course.\u00a0 Such academic costs include, but are not limited to: tools, uniforms, insurance, certification\/licensure fees, e-text, labs and other consumable supplies.\u00a0 The specific fee rate must be based on the estimated cost of providing the good or service.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Pursuant to 1E SBCCC 700.6, other fees will be charged to students to support costs of goods or services provided by the College that are not required for enrollment.\u00a0 Examples include, but are not limited to: transcript fees; optional assessment fees; library\/equipment replacement fees and fees to participate in a specific event or activity.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Review\/Updated: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Pursuant to 1E SBCC 700.1, the Board adopts the following local fees.\u00a0 The College shall deposit receipts derived from local fees in an unrestricted or restricted institutional account.\u00a0 The College will only use the local fee receipts for the purposes for which the local fee was approved.\u00a0 The President, through the […]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":29,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"on","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-24356","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n
