An EAP is designed to help employees and individuals in their immediate household with all kinds of life situations.\u00a0 Examples include, but are not limited to, marital difficulties, family problems, parenting, stress, balancing work and family, relationship issues, work-related concerns, depression, alcohol and drug use\/abuse, grief and loss, elder care, healthy living and crisis events.<\/p>\n
The College has partnered with \u201cThe Counseling Group, Inc.\u201d which has offices located in Morganton, Hickory and Lenoir to offer a free (5 visits\/per), confidential help with personal or work-related concerns.<\/p>\n
Confidentiality is an essential part of the EAP.\u00a0 The College will not know of your participation in the services nor will have access to any information without your consent.\u00a0 The only exceptions are when someone\u2019s safety is in question.<\/p>\n
