June 8, 2020 –
Learn the basics of wood selection, machine set-up, wood milling, and CNC (Computer Numerical Control). Individuals will learn general woodshop safety. In addition, they will learn the procedures of basic marking and layout of projects. Students will design and complete a project after they milled the wood. *If you are in WPCC's Professional Crafts Woods Program or have taken the Personal Enrichment's Gateway to Woodworking class, you are eligible to sign up for this class. Individuals must wear safety glasses and closed-toed shoes. Bring a lunch. Individuals will have thirty-minutes for lunch.
