Want space, equipment, and guidance to create your own woodworking projects? Western Piedmont Community College is offering a pen turning class. Individuals will turn a pen on a lathe as they learn basic lathe safety. They will learn about materials such as turning tools. In addition, individuals will learn how to properly sand and finish their pen. This class is for beginners or experienced woodworkers. Individuals must wear safety glasses and closed-toed shoes.
Class Dates: 3/13/20
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Individuals will have lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Location: Western Piedmont Community College J 20
Cost: $45.00 *** Individuals will pay an additional fee of $1.20 for insurance. The class will cost $46.20 in total.
