Local Residents Win Kindle Fires!
Morganton, NC – Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC) recently gave away a Kindle Fire at each of two local basketball games. Jennifer Albright (far left) won the Kindle Fire at a recent game between East Burke High School (HS) and Draughn HS and David (DJ) Caldwell (far right) won the Kindle Fire during the recent Freedom HS versus Patton HS game. The winners’ names were drawn from among game attendees who visited the WPCC table at the events. Presenting the Kindle Fires was Jennifer Propst, WPCC Enrollment Management Director. Western Piedmont is pleased to be an educational partner with Burke County Public Schools and offers options for eligible juniors and seniors to obtain college credit while still in high school. WPCC is situated in the picturesque rolling foothills of Morganton, North Carolina, and has served the citizens of Burke County since 1964.
