Disability Services

Western Piedmont Community College’s Disability Services is committed to providing equal access and quality services for persons with disabilities. The College adheres to the standards and guidelines set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. The Office of Disability Services coordinates accommodations and support services to all students with a qualifying disability.

To receive services, students are required to provide documentation to the Office of Disability Services. Documentation must be current and signed by a qualified professional who has diagnosed the disability.  All information about the disability is kept confidential and will not be released to anyone without the student’s written permission.

Accommodations for WPCC sponsored events or meetings may be requested by attendees. Contact the Office of Disability Services a minimum of three business days in advance of scheduled activities.
