Dean Lee Kiser Honored By State Organization
Morganton, NC – Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC) Dean of Workforce & Professional Development Lee Kiser was awarded recently as 2014 Educator of the Year by the NC Waterworks Operators Association (NCWOA). Kiser was recognized for his devotion, leadership and dedication to the Association in the teaching of the NC Waterworks operators. Kiser (right) was presented the award by Mark Hahn, NCWOA Annual School Committee chair.
NCWOA has been the premier trainer of waterworks professionals for NC since 1939. Their volunteers are industry leaders who come together to provide certification schools and continuing education opportunities to members and non-members. Annually, NCWOA conducts two regional well and surface schools in Raleigh and Morganton and offers a variety of seminars across the state.
