WPCC offers a variety of classes for professional training and certifications along with personal advancement and enjoyment both in seated classes and online through ed2go. These classes are designed to accommodate busy lifestyles and provide opportunities to quickly get skills or explore interests.

You can sign up for classes via our online system. Please have the class title/name and the date(s) or class section numbers before clicking or tapping the buttons to access the registration forms.
In-person registration for Workforce and Continuing Education classes in Hildebrand Hall has been suspended due to the COVID-19 restrictions. We are still accepting registrations for classes being offered via online registration. Remember, you need to register for classes prior to the class start date (preferably 48 hours prior), allowing time for all payments to process before the class begins. Western Piedmont Community College is pleased to present our first Green Industry Career Training Certification Course. Over 64 hours of training, you will be prepared for jobs in the Green Industry sector, including greenhouses, nurseries, and landscape operations. You will also get help with résumé preparation, interviewing etiquette and skills you need to get a job. The class wraps up with a Job Fair on December 9th.
Unemployed and Underemployed individuals may qualify for Fee Waiver covering the registration cost of $180.00. All Students will pay the $1.20 Insurance Fee for the course.
The Lead instructors of Western Piedmont Community College's Sustainable Agriculture Program will conduct the course with support from Professionals in the Green Industry. Contact Meagan Roberts email@example.com or Chip Hope firstname.lastname@example.org @ 828-448-3554 for more information.
The Human Resources Development Program is structured to help unemployed and underemployed adults with training gain job skills and basic computer skills. Classes are scheduled both on and off the WPCC campus.
HRD classes fees may be waived if students meet the following criteria: unemployed, notification of impending layoff, working and eligible for the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or working and earn at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
