New In-Person Registration Hours
You can also register and pay in person for Continuing Education and Workforce Development classes with Yvette Logan in Hildebrand Hall, Room 100E [map]. Yvette will be available for registrations Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Remember, you need to register for classes prior to the class start date (preferably 48 hours prior), allowing time for all payments to process before the class begins.

Want space, equipment, and guidance to create your own woodworking projects? WPCC is offering an introduction/safety/best practices class for our woodshop. This is a prerequisite/gateway class to an extended series of open shop/labs that will be offered at WPCC starting mid-summer of 2019. In this gateway class students will build a serving tray as the project to introduce them to our workspace, with the emphasis being our safety & set up practices. Students will learn about the shop’s overall workspace, including wood storage, rough end, equipment in the machining areas, as well as seeing demonstrations of layout, measurement & case fitting strategies helpful to woodworkers. Maximum Number of Students: Six
The class is designed for beginners, as well as the advanced. It is a prerequisite for all designated woodworking Continuing Education courses, including the Open Shop/Labs slated to begin mid-summer 2019. Students must wear safety glasses & closed toed shoes for this class.
