Section Number: 65988An Emergency Medical Technician class will be held from June 6 - August 12, 2022 at the Foothills Higher Education Center. It consists of 264 hours of classroom and clinical instruction and will prepare students to take the EMT exam administered by the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services.
Prerequisites
- TABE placement test for reading comprehension (minimum of 11th grade reading level). Learn more about the TABE test or call (828) 448-6140 for a test appointment. Test results are required in order to register.

- $180 registration fee (unless you are fee-exempt)
- $14.20 fee for Accident & Liability Insurance (paid by all students)
- $16 WPCC Polo Shirt required for clinical instruction
- $11.50 Background Check (per the last name)

Industrial Sewing Boot Camp meets June 16 through July 1 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday through Friday). The class is located at The Industrial Commons on 647 Hopewell Road in Morganton, NC. Register for this section or select the July course HERE!

Class Section Number: 66788In “New York City Cultural Experience”, participants will have the opportunity to explore the exciting city of New York. Join instructors experienced in guiding visitors through the art, architecture, culture, history, and theatre of Manhattan. Individuals will also have the chance for sightseeing, shopping, and dining, with accommodations centrally situated in the Midtown/Times Square area.
This class is the Continuing Education part of Art 111 which includes a trip to New York City over Summer Semester, Thursday, June 22 through Sunday, June 26.

New York Cultural Experience- Cost of the Class: $250.00
- Cost of the Trip: Approximate cost of the trip is $950.00 with a deposit of $50 due on April 11th. This cost will cover Airfare, Hotel, Breakfast and Transfer from airport to hotel and back.
