College Supports Burke Hospice with Gift

DSC_0628Morganton, NC –Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC) raised $1,300 at its recent Hoops for Hospice event to benefit Burke Hospice and Palliative Care. The proceeds from the College’s 2015 fundraiser will provide support to Camp Dragonfly, a grief-counseling camp for local children offered annually by Burke Hospice. The Camp provides a safe place for children to express their feelings and move forward in their healing. All activities are age-appropriate and supervised by Hospice staff.
