Green Industry Career Training Certification
Green Industry Career Training will be prepare you for jobs in the green industry sector, including greenhouses, nurseries, and landscape operations. You will also get help with résumé preparation, interviewing etiquette and skills you need to get a job.
Municipal Finance
This course is intended to meet the NC Department of State Treasurer standards for the core duties of finance operations in local government units. Topics include overview of local government finance and accounting, GS 159, the role of finance officer, pre-audit and budget processes. Independent Auto Dealer Licensing and Renewal
Western Piedmont Community College offers the Auto Dealers Initial Licensing Course and the Independent Auto Dealers License Renewal Course.
The Auto Dealers Initial Licensing Course meets the twelve-hour requirement by the NC Division of Motor Vehicles. This course provides information on licensing requirements, state and federal laws, frequently-used forms, dealer license plates, and vehicle safety inspections.
The Auto Dealer License Renewal Course meets the six-hour continuing education requirement for your license renewal as ordered for Independent Auto Dealers by House Bill 432. This course provides a brief overview of the NC Motor Vehicle Dealers and Manufacturers Regulations Manual and includes a study of dealer laws, regulations, DMV regulations, federal laws and rules, and proper record-keeping.

This course provides prospective auto dealers with the 12 hours of authorized pre-licensing training to be licensed in North Carolina. Topics include powers of commissioner, dealer license plates, vehicle inspections, titling and registration, frequently used forms, and dealer disclosures. Class Date: 12/7/20, 12/8/20, and 12/9/20 Time: 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m each day Location: This class will be offered online with live instruction. Details will be provided to those who are registered.
