All day September 11, 2023
The Criminal Justice Club and TRIO invite everyone to honor and remember the events of September 11, 2001
Please join us in sharing memories, messages, and meanings of this day at Moore Hall and Leviton Auditorium.
A short film on September 11th will play throughout the day. While these events were shattering, they serve as a reminder that what UNITES will always be stronger than what divides.
Time: Mondays & Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Room #: C Building - Welding Shop (Main Campus located at 1001 Burkemont Ave., Morganton)
Description: This welding course will focus on the basics of Mig welding. The student will learn to use safety equipment and proper techniques necessary in welding. This welding course will include PPE, and all guidelines in welding safety. The course will give the students a hands-on opportunity to practice welding techniques. The students should wear proper clothing including closed toe shoes. All PPE will be provided by the instructor and students should wear clothes that would be considered proper clothing. It is important that a student does not wear clothing or shoes which can cause injury to the student. For example, no flip flops should be worn in the welding area. By the end of the course, a student should be able to demonstrate a proper welding task safely.

September – October Judging happens September 26th
In support of our QEP (more to come on that!) your SGA is sponsoring a bulletin board competition – the theme of each board is ADVISING.
How it works:

- First place winning group gets a pizza party
- The boards are to remain up throughout the first weeks of October
