WPCC Calendar

This 24-hour local anesthesia certification course is for dental hygienists practicing for at least two years. The online aspect of this course is taught through a series of modules developed by a dentist with a background in online and distance learning. The clinical component is completed in 8 hours and incorporates several hands-on exercises, injections on anesthesia manikins, and using Safe-D-Needles before working on a peer patient. Once completed, the hygienist will receive 24 hours of NSBDE-approved continuing education and the required paperwork to submit for your local anesthesia certification.

Important Information: On November 11th all students have to be in person. That is the only day students will need to come on campus. The online portion of the class begins on October 16th and it is very important to have logged in to complete a 5 questionnaire and get the 16 hours done in time before the in-person class!
