– If you have been charged with a minor violation in the 36th North Carolina Judicial District, you may elect to have it reduced by the District Attorney by completing a 4-hour defensive driving course. It is offered through Western Piedmont Community College and the Safety and Health Council of North Carolina to train motorists in the principles of defensive driving. – Description: This class will be an introduction to basic welding processes. Topics of discussion will include Safety in Welding, Welding types, and an overview of the welding industry as a whole. Students will be given time to practice some welding techniques and get a feel for the welding trade. The students will be working with mild steel mostly focusing on stick welding and gas welding.
