All day Dates: January 4 - April 30, 2023 This 208-hour totally online course is designed to provide instruction in the technical procedures for preparing and dispensing drugs in the hospital and retail settings under supervision of a registered pharmacist. Topics include drug packaging and labeling, outpatient dispensing, hospital dispensing procedures, controlled substance procedures, inventory control, and non-sterile compounding. Upon completion, student should be able to perform basic supervised dispensing techniques in a variety of pharmacy settings. Students who successfully complete this training program will be eligible to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) offered through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). This class is in partnership with Isothermal Community College. – In this 6-week introduction to the fundamentals of American Sign Language, students will learn how to properly fingerspell, use numbers and develop a basic vocabulary of conversational signs. Being proficient in ASL allows you to communicate with a wide range of hearing, hard of hearing, and deaf individuals—including students in mainstream and deaf school or university programs and deaf or hard of hearing residents and business people in your community. – If you have been charged with a minor violation in the 36th North Carolina Judicial District, you may elect to have it reduced by the District Attorney by completing a 4-hour defensive driving course. It is offered through Western Piedmont Community College and the Safety and Health Council of North Carolina to train motorists in the principles of defensive driving. – If you have been charged with a minor violation in the 36th North Carolina Judicial District, you may elect to have it reduced by the District Attorney by completing a 4-hour defensive driving course. It consists of classroom and clinical instruction and will prepare students to take the EMT exam administered by the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services. Emergency Care: 14th Edition + My Brady Lab (ISBN9780136857860). You can submit your registration for the EMT-Night class below. The course section number is 67995.
