    Industrial Sewing Book Camp meets May 1 - 17 every week Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM.

    Receive 96 credit hours from our Industrial Sewing Boot Camp! This program prepares trainees for a career in the sewn trades and is currently offered in English with some Spanish translation.

    Location: Carolina Textile District at The Industrial Commons on 647 Hopewell Road in Morganton, NC.

    • Basic stitches and seams
    • Machines for furniture and home goods

    • Basic instruction (single needle machine, serger and cover stitch)

    Materials: Students will need to purchase the notary public handbook that is available in the WPCC bookstore. You should also bring a pencil and paper. Please note no laptops are allowed.
    This course is taught by Calleesha Teel, Esq. Originally from Greenville, NC she received her Bachelors in Political Science from Winston-Salem State University and her JD/MLS from North Carolina Central University. She has been a Notary Public since 2016 and conducted hundreds of notarizations. She is also a Notary Signing Agent and Notary Public Instructor. "I am looking forward to teaching you what you need to know to be a Notary."
