The City of Morganton and the Town of Valdese sign National Apprenticeship Week Proclamation

On Monday, November 6th, the City of Morganton and the Town of Valdese signed a proclamation recognizing November 13 – 19, 2023 as National Apprenticeship Week.

Western Piedmont’s PACE Program, which stands for Partnership for Apprenticeship and Career Exploration provides apprenticeship opportunities for workers to receive specialized training to enhance their job skills. Apprentices are paid while in the program along with earning an educational credential to demonstrate training.
