Students and faculty requiring, or needing, information may call the College. In the event of inclement weather, area radio and television stations will announce that the College is closed, that classes have been cancelled, that the College will delay openings, or similar statements. The message will be as short as we can make it in order to keep down confusion.

If you are eligible for disaster assistance, you may choose to have the assistance check deposited directly into your bank account. Provide bank account information only when YOU call the number above.

Government disaster assistance covers basic needs only and will not normally compensate you for your entire loss. If you have insurance, the government may help pay for basic needs not covered under your insurance policy. Some disaster aid does not have to be paid back, while other forms of help may come in the form of loans.
