Program Surveys

Please take a minute to complete the appropriate survey(s) below, to help us determine the interest in these programs for possible development. 

1) Human Services Technology: Developmental Disabilities Concentration Surveys:

Western Piedmont Community College is considering starting a Human Services program with a concentration in developmental disabilities (HSE-DD).  Such a program would provide individuals with the skills to work effectively with children and adults with physical, mental, emotional, and developmental disabilities.

2) Professional Crafts: Wood Surveys:

Western Piedmont Community College is considering starting a professional wood crafts program. Such a program would provide individuals with woodworking skills and the traditional values of fine craftsmanship, creative design, and an entrepreneurial focus to be successful small business operators. Graduates may earn a degree, diploma, or certificate. Graduates should be prepared to start their own business, work in the hand-craft industry, or continue their education at a four-year institution like NC State.

3) Simulation and Game Development Surveys:

Western Piedmont Community College is considering starting a Simulation and Game Development (SGD) program. Such a program would provide individuals with a broad background in simulation and game development with practical applications in creative arts, visual arts, audio/video technology, creative writing, modeling/visualization, concept design, programming and management.
