Suggested Calendar For WPCC Students
January
Complete and mail the FAFSA as soon as possible after January
1. To apply for the N.C. Student Incentive Grant, you must submit
the FAFSA prior to March 15.
February or March
Explore alternative possibilities for financial aid. Check
with your high school counselors, you or your parent's employer, and
civic organizations. If you have access to a computer, we suggest
that you explore financial aid opportunities on the Internet.
May
May 1, Priority deadline for the upcoming Fall Semester.
June
You
should receive notification of your financial aid award by the end
of June if you applied prior to the priority deadline.
Late Applications
Students may apply for financial aid at any time during the
academic year. The above calendar is suggested so that students may
maximize their financial aid award. Students should be aware that
the application process for financial aid will take 3-5 weeks to
complete. Late awards will be made on a monthly basis.
