Special
Populations Programs -
While WPCC does not have a childcare
facility on campus, this office subsidizes payment of off-campus
childcare for the children of eligible student parents. This
assistance is made available through Perkins and State Childcare
Grants. Eligibility for these programs is based primarily on
demonstrated financial need and the student's program of
study. To be considered for childcare assistance, the student parent
must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, apply
for child care assistance through the local Department of Social
Services and complete a Special Populations application within this
office.
