Western Piedmont Community College schedules ServSafe Food Protection Manager classes during the year held at the Foothills Higher Education Center on South Sterling Street in Morganton.
Managerial ServSafe Course Offering: The ServSafe program helps prepare you for the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification exam.
Training covers these concepts:
- The Importance of Food Safety
- Good Personal Hygiene
- Time and Temperature Control
- Preventing Cross-Contamination
- Cleaning and Sanitizing
- Safe Food Preparation
- Receiving and Storing Food
- Methods of Thawing, Cooking, Cooling and Reheating Food
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
- Food Safety Regulations
Western Piedmont Community College is offering a one-day 12-hour session of Managerial ServSafe Certification Course and Testing on Thursday November 2, 2017 from 8 am to 9 pm. Class Size Limited to 25 people.

Pre-registration is required by October 18th, 2017.
Registration cost is $150 and includes the course book and testing. The course will be taught in English, the test is available in Spanish upon request.
