Morganton—Western Piedmont Community College’s division of continuing education will offer two sessions of “Medicare Made Clear” on Monday, Dec. 3 in the College’s Foothills Higher Education Center located at 2128 South Sterling Street, Morganton, NC. A midday session will be offered from 12 to 1:30 p.m. in Room 121 and will be repeated in a second session that afternoon from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Room 121. This class is of particular interest to those joining Medicare for the first time. Attendees, who will learn the basics of Medicare with a thorough overview including Parts A, B, C and D drugs, will also receive a guide to choosing a Medigap policy and Medicare Advantage.
