Public Invited to Burke County Job Fair 9/20

Morganton—The public is cordially invited to attend Mission Transition: Burke County Job Fair on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 1:30 to 5 p.m. on the campus of Western Piedmont Community College in Carr Hall.  Sponsors of the job fair are Burke Development Inc., WorkSource West/Vocational Rehabilitation, NC Division of Workforce Solutions (formerly known as the Employment Security Commission), Western Piedmont Workforce Development Board and Western Piedmont Community College.  The event is free.

Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes. Any employer in Burke County or the surrounding area that will be hiring at the time of the event or expects to hire in the near future is invited to attend. More than 30 employers are scheduled to be present at the Job Fair.

Door prizes will be given throughout the event.
