Express Yourself: Finding Your Writing Voice

P.S. Broaddus, a Local author of A Hero’s Curse, is offering a writing workshop to help you find your writing voice! Students will learn about the elements of a story to begin writing their own manuscripts. Students will have the opportunity to dabble in poetry, fiction, drama, screenwriting, and nonfiction by participating in various engaging and challenging assignments. This six-week course will craft your writing by developing a writing portfolio and receiving feedback from P.S. Broaddus for each writing activity! Students will bring their own writing tools such as a laptop or paper and pen.
Class Dates: 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, and 4/29
No class on 4/22/19 for Spring break.
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
