Morganton Service League Makes Generous Gift to College
Morganton, NC –The Morganton Service League recently made a gift to the Western Piedmont Foundation to support students in Western Piedmont Community College’s (WPCC) Performing Arts department. The donation will be used to support student productions offered by the WPCC Theatre Company each year..
“Offering our assistance to the Performing Arts department is a good use of our funds and is also a wonderful contribution to our community,” said Leanne Brittain, president of the Morganton Service League. “Our League was glad to help because this supports our mission to foster the educational and cultural condition of our community and we are thrilled to help these students.”

Western Piedmont Community College is situated in the picturesque rolling foothills of Morganton, North Carolina, and has served the citizens of Burke County since 1964. Each year, more than 10,700 students pursue personal enrichment, new skills for a job or career, high school diplomas, college degrees, and transfer pathways.
