The Electrician's Academy
Dates: May 21 – August 6, 2018
When: Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Cost: $600 per student
Location: 1001 Burkemont Avenue, Morganton, NC
WPCC, in partnership with BDI, Work in Burke and the Burke County Homebuilders Association, will offer a comprehensive training program this summer for individuals who wish to pursue a career as electricians. The class will meet five days per week for 5 hours each day for 12 weeks beginning in May, for a total of 200 hours of intensive classroom and hands on training. The accelerated program will provide students the skills needed to gain entry level employment with residential and commercial electricians and as entry level electrical maintenance technicians in local industry.
Cost $600 - Includes Book $120 - Tool Kit/Belt $300 - Registration $180
Qualifications and Expectations:
High School graduate or currently enrolled in a high school program
A limited number of sponsorships are available for individuals who are highly motivated, dependable, and willing to learn.
