In this course you will learn the basics of residential gas powered home and lawn equipment. Many of the fundamentals also apply to automobiles, motorcycles, ATVs, mini bikes and go karts. Major topics include safety, gas engine fundamentals, batteries, fuel, oil, grease, blades, fasteners, tools, various adjustments, regular maintenance (including oil, air and fuel filter changing), tire pressure and proposed storage of equipment.
Signing Up for a Personal Enrichment Class
Continuing Education classes offered through our Workforce and Professional Development Division, have a pre-registration policy, with the exception of Fire/Rescue, EMT/EMS, Law Enforcement, HRD and CTP program areas. You must register and pay any registration fees two business days/48 business hours prior to the start date of the class.
