In this class you will learn how to make simple repairs to your home’s electrical and plumbing systems. Topics include tool selection and use, safety, simple troubleshooting of problems and replacement/repair of common electrical and plumbing parts. Upon completion of the class, you will know how to assemble and use a do-it-yourself tool kit, be able to troubleshoot and safely repair light fixtures, household plumbing fixtures and identify which types of repairs can be done by yourself and when to call a professional.
Signing Up for a Personal Enrichment Class
Continuing Education classes offered through our Workforce and Professional Development Division, have a pre-registration policy, with the exception of Fire/Rescue, EMT/EMS, Law Enforcement, HRD and CTP program areas. You must register and pay any registration fees two business days/48 business hours prior to the start date of the class.
